Daytime City is a journey from beginning of the day to sunset, representing some of the most emblematic areas of Havana. I strive to represent the heart of the city within the limits of the modern and the ancient, detailing in each panoramic a costumbrist style on this century XXI. On my paintings I manipulate the perspective, objects and people that are in the composition, to call the viewer's attention on some detail. The Havana in this series is shown as a city in movement that in many years has refused to technological advances, but in turn has shown the charisma of the typical Cuban people.
